Your adventure begins early in the morning with a 6:00 AM departure from Nairobi. You will travel by a comfortable 4×4 safari vehicle, accompanied by an experienced driver-guide who will share insights about Kenya’s landscapes and wildlife. The drive to Amboseli takes approximately 4 to 5 hours, passing through bustling towns, rural villages, and vast savannah plains. Along the way, you will stop for a hearty breakfast at a scenic viewpoint or a local restaurant, where you can stretch your legs and enjoy views of the countryside.
By midday, you will arrive at Amboseli National Park, renowned for its large elephant herds and ravishing views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Check into your chosen lodge or camp—such as Ol Tukai Lodge or Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge—where you will enjoy a warm welcome and a delicious lunch. After settling in, embark on your first afternoon game drive at 4:00 PM. The park’s swamps and marshes are hotspots for elephants, hippos, and buffalo, and your guide will help you spot these animals against the stunning backdrop of Africa’s highest peak. As the sun sets, return to your lodge for a relaxing dinner and an overnight stay, listening to the sounds of the African wilderness.
Today you will have an early morning game drive to view the Famous Mount Kilimanjaro and herds of elephants at the foot of Mountain. You will search for other wildlife like lions, giraffes, zebra, and more. Return in your lodge for breakfast followed by the rest of the morning at leisure enjoying the lodge facilities. Hot Buffet Lunch will be served in the lodge then later at around 1600hours leave for an afternoon game drive. Overnight Stay at AA Amboseli Lodge.
Today you will leave Amboseli after breakfast, on a relaxed drive and with morning game drive enroute to Nairobi. Arrive in the afternoon where you will have farewell Lunch at the world’s famous Carnivore Restaurant. Later drop off at the airport or Nairobi City Hotel. Our Tour Manager will be at hand to assist in case you need anything else.
